Betty Ogundipe is a British-Nigerian fine artist and art director from West London, based between London and Cape Verde. She explores work on diaspora culture, African heritage and influence, and contemporary femininity in these worlds. Betty graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art in 2024 with a BFA in Fine Art. In 2020, she was awarded the Tate Collective Billboard prize for her portrait work on Nigerian artist Abe Odedina, and again In 2023 for her photography work ‘Make We Comot’ exploring Lagos highways.
