Betty Ogundipe is a British-Nigerian artist,  born and raised in London. Her work describes the tension between militancy and femininity and uses this visual language to discuss attitudes about violence towards women. Through paintings, textile, photography and moving image, she explores womanhood and ‘the female survival mode’, using lived experience and different ideals of femininity.
